William Goldstein Leads Newly Structured Underwriting Division as CEO

Effective January 1, 2024 William Goldstein will lead a newly structured Underwriting Division, which will include Starwind, AmRisc Group, JH Blades, and Ethos. There will be no changes to any underlying operating brand names for those businesses. 

Goldstein will continue to report to Dave Obenauer, Vice Chairman and President of Truist Insurance Holdings. 

“This decision marks an important moment in our history as we transition leadership to Bill, who has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities, strategic acumen, and unwavering commitment to our success,” said Obenauer. “His promotion is also a testament to the strong leadership pipeline we have within our organization.” 

This change brings together businesses with similar operating models, allowing the organization to achieve efficiency and economies of scale to ensure continued success.
