In this pioneering partnership, Dr. Joiner's unparalleled expertise meets Negley Associates’ and the MHRRG's commitment to proactive mental health initiatives to produce effective online suicide prevention training and resources for mental healthcare providers. Based on the same evidence-based protocol used by the 988 suicide prevention lifelines, the program represents an important next step in suicide prevention and quality care. Comprised of a full suite of online video training and downloadable resources, continuing education credits are available for all licensed behavioral healthcare providers that complete the suicide prevention training program.
Launched February 1, 2024, this free training program demonstrates a commitment to proactively supporting behavioral healthcare providers and facilitating the provision of high-quality care that helps prevent tragic deaths with a suicide prevention program that combines a dedicated focus on cutting-edge research and evidence-based strategies.
