RMA, Inc., a member company of Starwind Specialty, one of the largest program management operations in North America, today announced the appointment of Rob MacKenzie as President, effective July 6, 2026. MacKenzie succeeds Claire Myles, who is transitioning from the role following a distinguished 30-year career building and leading the organization.
MacKenzie joins RMA from a global reinsurer, where he served as Head of Life & Health Canada and Chief Agent for the company’s Canadian Branch. In this role, he held overall responsibility for the Canadian reinsurance business, including strategic, operational, financial, and market leadership. He brings more than 20 years of international experience across Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia, spanning direct insurance, reinsurance, and consulting. A Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA), Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA), and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder, MacKenzie has led product development, pricing, valuation, and business development initiatives across individual, group insurance, and pension markets.
