Huntersure Launches Media E&O Program for Media and Entertainment Risks

September 24, 2026

September 24, 2026 - Huntersure, a Starwind Specialty underwriting business, today announced the launch of its Media Errors & Omissions (E&O) Program, expanding its professional liability capabilities with dedicated primary and excess solutions for media and entertainment risks.

The program provides up to $5 million in limits and is designed for a broad range of media organizations and professionals, including broadcasters, publishers, advertising agencies, authors, sports organizations, and producers.

Huntersure offers occurrence or claims-made primary Media E&O forms, along with excess Media E&O and the ability to consider blended E&O and cyber excess for media-driven risks.

“Media organizations are operating in an environment where content is created and distributed faster, across more channels, and to broader audiences than ever before,” said Dennis Mullins, President of Huntersure. “This program gives us the flexibility to address the evolving professional liability exposures of media and entertainment clients with solutions tailored to how they create and distribute content.”

Coverage can be tailored to an insured’s specific media content and operations, and includes open peril and duty to defend language with 100% defense cost allocation. Additional features include coverage for social media and advertising content, contextual E&O, contingent bodily injury and property damage, automatic additional insured coverage, and coverage for title, music copyright, film clips, and stock footage.

“Media risks rarely fit neatly into a standard coverage approach, particularly as content moves across platforms and traditional boundaries continue to blur,” said Ryan Stark, Media & Entertainment Program Manager at Huntersure. “By offering both primary and excess capabilities, we can work with brokers to build coverage around the specific operations and exposures of their media and entertainment clients.”
