Norman-Spencer Agency Launches New Specialty Management Liability Program

Norman-Spencer Agency, a program administrator and wholesale brokerage within CRC Group’s Starwind Specialty programs division, is pleased to announce that it has launched a new Specialty Management Liability Program featuring Directors & Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, and Fiduciary Liability coverages. This new program became available in July 2023 and focuses on nonprofit entities, public officials/municipal risks, and educators/school board legal liability.

In recent years, municipal and scholastic risks have encountered exposures that the standard casualty package market is not necessarily equipped to address. American Insurance Professionals (AIP), the division of Norman-Spencer Agency responsible for the new Specialty Management Liability program, initially launched its small – middle market Professional Liability program January 2021. The program is built around professional entities with less than $25,000,000 in revenue providing real estate services, inspections and appraisals, consulting or technology-related services, and insurance-related services, such as claim adjusters or third-party administrators, and other business management services. The new Specialty Management Liability Program can write up to $5,000,000 in limits, both on a primary and excess basis and is solely focused on wholesale brokers.

The Specialty Management Liability program is a welcome addition to the Starwind portfolio of insurance products built to address the needs of niche clients and the wider wholesale brokerage community.
